Ruffle scarf

I liked this scarf from Anthropologie, but I am unwilling to pay $98 for a cashmere scarf.



















So, I decided to try to make my own. I used strips of fleece sewn together, then make two seams down the length of it and gathered them. Then, I cut some fringe for the end. I used fleece because I didn't want to finish the edges and fleece doesn't fray. Mine doesn't look as good as the original, but I like the effect.

Here's a hat I made this week. I used a pattern in Hip Hats/Cool Caps/whatever it's called.
